has anyone been to the 40 40 club- what is the dress code? I know they are strict but my friend is a girl and?

she does not wear girly clothes. when we called for the dress code last night they said her shirt has to have a collar and no sneakers or boots. She is trying to decide between a phat farm shirt- short sleeve (but kind of casual & urban) and a trendy top-mens with collar, long sleeve from a boutique called Know Style. She also wants to wear these black diesal sneakers, but I am not sure if she will get in with those. HELP PLEASE!!!!

You’re going to the 40/40 club so the rule of thumb is always “dress to impress” your friend won’t be allowed to enter if she wears sneakers or timbs or work boots of any kind. No t-shirts, sports jerseys or any type of athletic wear is allowed. Just think grown and sexy. Hood wear is NOT allowed and you won’t get in if you wear it.

Is this good apparel to wear to a bar (pic included)?

I live in a small town where people don’t dress up when they go to the bar, would the shirt bellow paired with a lace cami and dark wash skinny jeans be appropriate to wear to out? (I don’t own any black tops or anything)
