does anyone know of a potty trainer for my dog. I live close to valdosta ga & lake city fl.

My chihuahua won’t respond to litter training and I need help! I live close to the georgia state line (valdosta) but I still live in Fl. willing to drive to jacksonville or some place not to far off . please help
to tatertot……..if you can’t say anything nice don’t say nothing at all……i never said i didn’t have time, i simply said that he is not responding to potty training!!!!!

potty training??? well i had a pitbull and simply toke him outside 4-6 times a day and wouldn’t come back in until he went… then when he does praise him and give him a treat so he knows he did good… get some books and read up it’s easy to potty train dogs– really dun waste your money…just be consistent….and accidents are inevitable esp. at these beggining stages just make sure you get a special dog spray for accidents which disapate the odor- dogs have this smell in their pee so they mark it and pee there again—MAKE SURE you get the special spray for eliminating that odor b/c my friend just used lysol to disinfect it and time passed the dog would get worse and worse with accidents- what happened is that by using the lysol on top of his mark it was like teaching the dog to pee where lysol was!

PS feed him on a schedule so you get learn when you dog will have to go…and remeber feed him his dinner early cuz you wanna walk him as much as 3 hrs after– my dog had 2 feedings a day 5AM & 5PM

Are Chihuahuas smart dogs?

I have a chihuahua named Trixie shes a year old and i want to put her into agility or dog freestyle where is some good place to TRAIN her that i live near jacksonville florida so anywhere near that will be fine….but she has a big problem she acts like she just does stuff for treats… ill teach her a trick then she’ll not want to do it the next day i practice with her every night and when i try to do agility with she frecks out and the jump is the perfect size for her…what should i do?Thanks SO much Emily!

Hi Emily,
I have a female short coat chi that my 17 year old daughter has in agility. Pixie only weighs 3 pounds and she is about to finish her first session and has done very well. I am actually amazed with her being by far the smallest dog in her class and surroundings. I think that you should keep going with Trixie…..if you find a treat that she LOVES and only use it when you train her you will be amazed at her attention and what she will remember because she wants that treat again and again I dearly love my chi and will be getting another one in two weeks that I plan on taking to agility when she is old enough.
