why is PETA against no-kill animal shelters?
Most of the animals surrendered to PETA are euthanized. Now, this seems a rather strange tactic to me, seeing as how these are the same people who throw fake blood onto people wearing fur coats and compare animal slaughter to the Holocaust. How do they explain this hypocrisy? Do they claim that death is better for unwanted or sick pets?
I’m not one for PETA (not going to start telling you what I REALLY think of them because I might get reported) but I think they’d be against no-kill shelters because sometimes they have LOTS of animals at one time in small cages who will never get a home. Sometimes they’re better off euthanized than in a small cage for the rest of their lives. Sad, but this is what we (humans) have did to them with irresponsible breeding.
