The Essentials

Essentials was released in 2002, during a time when compilations weren’t exactly a rare commodity. To make its presence a little better, Essentials was only one of two Average White Band compilations released domestically since their 1992 best-of. Luckily for consumers and compilers, the AWB catalog is so foolproof, a good compilation is almost assured. The best songs remain the ones from their classic self-titled album from 1974. “Picking Up the Pieces” and “Person to Person” display their J.B.’s-influenced rhythm scheme. The great “Got the Love” and “Work to Do” also feature the strong vocals of guitarist/bassist Hamish Stuart and bassist/guitarist Alan Gorrie and their effortless chemistry. After the 1974 cuts, AWB never really sounded as quirky or charming again. They did remain good to great, though. With drummer Steve Ferrone replacing the late Robbie McIntosh, tracks from Soul Searching, including the title “Queen of My Soul” and the phenomenal “A Love of Your Own,” prove that point. Tracks from 1975’s Cut the Cake and Feel No Fret’s “Walk on By” are the only ones that didn’t wear all that well. Despite the track list, Essentials doesn’t tell the whole story, though. This set includes nothing from Warmer Communications or the clunky Benny & Us. Perhaps that’s best. While Essentials isn’t as worthy as a regular-release album or the more extensive The Best of Average White Band, it’s not half bad. ~ Jason Elias, Rovi

Yorkie puppy bites keeps fingers and feet. Is this normal? you stop? What I can do?
we have plenty of chew toys, but that dose not bite … I would rather bite the search engines and feet … Is this normal?
That's normal. She is playing and the fingers are smoother and better taste. Want to teach their inhibition Bite: bite inhibition Cubs are very energetic and playful. Want to learn to be obedient as young possible. In this case, teach her bite inhibition: 1. When she nips you, then cry! This scare her and she back off. Your pet will come. 2. If you pinch a second time, I cry again, and if she backs off pet. 3. If you are bitten a third time, then scream, and turn your back for 15 seconds. And then in your pet. If she comes around before the turn and licks and barks, then she apologizes. Accept this, and your pet. 4. If pinching for the fourth time (which can be stubborn), then cry, and around 2 minutes. Again, accept the apology, if offered. If not, then turn around and your pet. 5. Finally, after the fifth contact area, cry, then get up and leave her alone. Do not move it or put it in the box. Instead, move to a place she can not continue. After 5 to 10 minutes, you can return to it, or just leave it peace. 6. The next time your pet, repeat the sequence, which should respond a little faster, and learn not to cut after a week. 7. You can adjust the process for you mouth or you just touch it with your lips. I taught my dog in my mouth … I do not have the patience to go further. The reason for this is to train the puppy how fragile human skin. When puppies are litter, they bite each other to play.
