Dog Zoomies

dog zoomies
How do some of the questions in the Dog section of y!a make you feel about your own dog?

whenever i come on here and see page after page of problems.. i just feel so content with my dog. he’s nine months old, and completely housetrained, loves people, doesn’t mind other dogs, doesn’t chase the cats. great with commands, and especially wonderful with waits/stays. lovely for the most part on the lead. he has his problems, of course, but i know they’re being solved. (like how he enthusiastically greets people on the leash. he’s not terrible, though. he just pulls a little, so i stop walking until he’s nicely seated, then we continue. and like the zoomies he gets, but i know those can be solved by draining the energy he suddenly finds to dash around the house every so often.)
but he doesn’t have any terrible issues like you see so often here.

so how do the questions you see make you feel about your own pooch? are you filled with appreciation? pride? love? embarrassment? shame?

A great many of the questions on here make me very, very grateful for and appreciative of my dogs.

They’re wonderful ambassadors for their breed on walks, greeting people calmly (but they aren’t puppies!!), even standing completely still for very tiny kids to let the kids come up to them.

The only things they ever seem to get scolded for are stepping into a flower bed in the spring (because they’ve forgotten over the winter), then trying to run in without getting their feet wiped.

They don’t bark, don’t fight with each other, don’t growl at anyone. Yeah, I’m spoiled having the 3 of them. Almost makes me wonder why I want a puppy!
