dog training food aggression
What am I supposed to do with a food aggressive dog?

I read a lot of the other answers, and none of them work. Ive tried all but the stupid ones. In every other aspect, my dog knows that anyone on two legs is the boss of anyone on four. My cats are even trained to know this.

I AM NO LONGER LOOKING FOR A SOLUTION TO THE AGGRESSION. Please dont give me advice on how to break her of it. She has already tried to attack my cat viciously, and I cannot risk our children or us being bitten. I was feeding her in her kennel, but it has spread to include her water too.

What I need advice on, is how do I relocate a dog with this problem? I tried to bring her to a no-kill shelter, but they wouldnt take her because of the food agression. what am i supposed to do about it???
I forgot to mention that we live in an apartment, and do not have a yard.
We dont crowd her when she eats. My cat was walking past to jump up on the sofa. luckily the dog was in her crate at the time, and couldnt reach her.

you can try to find your dog a home that has no other animals or small children,
put an ad on craigslist, explain CLEARLY why the dog needs a new home, so someone with small children or other animals doesnt applly.
in the mean time, feed and water your dog in a seperate room where the cat and your kids cant get to it.

i understand your problem. and hope you dont get too much hate coments for your posting.
people often forget that as a MOTHER your first duty is to your CHILDREN, not your dog.
