cattle dog behavior

Australian Cattle Dog or Blue Heeler, also known as Australia's Heeler, Hall Heeler, Queensland Heeler or Red Heeler. The term "heeler" refers to the instinct of the race to snap and bite the heels of the animals are grazing.

They alert and happy facial expressions, pointed ears, and although they appear small, which are muscular and agile. They come in a mixture of colors – mostly blue with tan and black, or mostly red specks.

They were raised as a combination of Scottish and Australian dingoes collies and mixed with some Australian Kelpie, Dalmatian, and Bull Terrier to be a hardy breed that can withstand long hours and harsh weather conditions with ease.

ACD are more work-minded "than other breeds of herding and, as a rule, are not so good as pets due to the characteristics of aggressive breed them specifically. But, as with all races, there are often exceptions to the rule.

Here The breakdown:

Temperament 2 of 5

Australian Cattle Dog is an excellent companion and is always waiting for the next order of his master. But ACD need much exercise or become highly destructive.

About two hours a day is ideal. They have to be with their pack (that means you!) Most day or develop behavioral problems. These can include serious assault, depression or anxiety. This is not a race to leave home for hours on end, or bound in the backyard. If an ACD should be left alone, will do better with one or two other dogs for company. They are bred to be guard dogs very sensitive, so as a rule do not like strangers coming onto their property.

ACD should be socialized regularly if they are to be friendly with other animals and people. ACD not distinguish a difference between wild animals or small pets, so not recommended around cats, rabbits, mice or small dogs. Most times, ACD will make a good socialized well with children, but are not recommended. Children often flock, so keep an eye on them – you do not want to bite the heels of his son. Even a highly socialized dog can be aggressive, depending on the child interacts with.

Training 5 of 5

ACD have what I I call the "extreme intelligence. As a Border Collie, can be trained to do just about anything. The disadvantage of a highly sophisticated race, however, is easily bored, so I always need a job for them. The sky is the limit of what they can teach.

ACD can be very independent and stubborn, because of his intelligence, enterprise training is a necessity. This breed responds well to consistent training and discipline, although it rapidly catches and I hate to disappoint their masters.

Grooming 4 of 5

Short hair ACD is weatherproof, but they are average shedders as often with a bristle brush firm. You only need bathing when necessary. , They have no need for shaving or haircuts – the layer has been developed to withstand all kinds of weather. Never dock of the tail – They need to work! Even the AKC recognizes a full queue, so you never need to dock.

Rated 3.5 out of 5

ACD weigh about of 30-55 pounds and live about 12 to 15 years. They do better in the herd farm animals, but not livestock or sheep, a large yard will, together with a plenty of exercise.

ACD are great candidates for such competitions as agility trials, flyball, frisbee, and of course, herding. ACD recommend to owners willing to work with your dog, compete with them or give them a job on the farm. They are not suitable for the suburbs or the city life.

They tend to be very noisy so its better not to have neighbors close by. If you are buying your puppy from a breeder of ACD, consider purchasing two or three in the same litter. They'll be happier pets in the long run with his brothers and sisters with them. The adoption of an ACD is difficult if you have existing pets, so be sure to speak with the organization is the adoption of -; you know if that particular ACD would do well with other animals.

Cattle Callin

Cattle Callin

$12.72

Never let it be said that Hank Williams III hasn’t brought something new and different to the world of heavy metal. Danny Barnes of the Bad Livers once opined that a really fast speed metal tune was roughly the same tempo as an ordinary bluegrass breakdown, and Hank3 seems to have reached a similar corollary regarding the verbal speed of punk rock howlers like H.R. of the Bad Brains or Keith Morris of the Circle Jerks, and the syllable-crushing skills of a good auctioneer. Credited to Hank 3’s 3 Bar Ranch, Cattle Callin is a 75-minute exercise in a genre Williams calls “Cattle Core,” in which he marries speed metal guitar figures and high velocity double-kick drumming to recordings of livestock auctioneers as Hank cranks out neck-snapping tempos and sheets of metallic noise, while guys shout out one price after another for this steer or that heifer with a velocity that makes Hank sound like he’s the one straining to keep up. If this sounds like a joke, Hank seems to be having fun with it, but he also shows a genuine respect for the these guys and their very real talents, and the music he weaves around the auctioneer’s calls not only makes reasonable sense but twists in and out of the patterns of these found vocals with rough-hewn grace (though the pace is fast and relentless enough that there isn’t much rhythmic ebb and flow). Hank played all the instruments on Cattle Callin’, and though his performances don’t have much swing, they’ve got impact to spare, and for a while this album is good, manic fun. The problem with Cattle Callin’ is that it goes on far too long — 30 minutes or so of this is invigorating, but by the time this disc comes to an end, the novelty has worn off and it’s just grating (though Hank saves one of the best tunes for the next to last track, the double-time banjo workout “Cattle Callin’ Lonesome Blues).” Cattle Core may well have a future as a metal subgenre, but Hank3 may want to shoot for an EP or a single next time rather than filling up a whole CD as he does on Cattle Callin. ~ Mark Deming, Rovi

Cattle Truck

Switzerland’s whiskey induced metal hydrid KRUGER rear its ugly head again with a new full-length album which pick up things where their first studio effort “built for speed (2003) had left them : right between a Neurosis-inspired sludgy post-HxC and the ferocious sound approach of Entombed. But the whole thing deeper and fiercer. KRUGER have gone quite a long way in several no-one-rembembers-their-name swiss bands, and their 12 years of listening and playing all kinds of heavy music is quite explicit in their great ease to mix chaotic atmospheres, dissonant intensity and mammoth highway-belting riffs. “CATTLE TRUCK” was mixed by the mighty producer Fredrik Nordstrom and mastered by Peter In de Betou. A good way to make sure that KRUGER’s heaviness will sound as pure as it should. More introspective and intense, but still belting your face: KRUGER new album “CATTLE TRUCK” will soon come to your town. Phduk.2006
